| (I've been singing this song in my head for the past few days.....) For the first time in my life, I think I 'get' this song! We are only human, and can only express in human ways LOVE so......amazing!
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO LOVE HIM (Jesus Christ Superstar!)
MARY MAGDALENE
I don't know how to love him.
What to do, how to move him.
I've been changed, yes really changed.
In these past few days, when I've seen myself,
I seem like someone else.
I don't know how to take this.
I don't see why he moves me.
He's a man. He's just a man.
And I've had so many men before,
In very many ways,
He's just one more.
Should I bring him down?
Should I scream and shout?
Should I speak of love,
Let my feelings out?
I never thought I'd come to this.
What's it all about?
Don't you think it's rather funny,
I should be in this position.
I'm the one who's always been
So calm, so cool, no lover's fool,
Running every show.
He scares me so.
I never thought I'd come to this.
What's it all about?
Yet, if he said he loved me,
I'd be lost. I'd be frightened.
I couldn't cope, just couldn't cope.
I'd turn my head. I'd back away.
I wouldn't want to know.
He scares me so.
I want him so.
I love him so.

| Just got a few cool quotes from my friend Shannon and wanted to share! These are AWESOME! I love the first one, but the last one ROCKS and is SOOOOOO true!
"Treat a man as he appears to be and you make him worse. But treat a man as if he already were what he potentially could be, and you make him what he should be."
"A woman's heart should be so lost in God that a man needs to seek Him (God) in order to find her!"
:) Enjoy your week!

| In my time of prayer today, I began asking God for certain things....safety, direction for the day, prayer requests and such. And I began to get a little anxious, like maybe I had asked too much in one day! And the Holy Spirit (I'm sure giggled and) reminded me that God is not a genie! You don't just get 3 really good wishes a year, a month, a week or even a day! God tells us to 'ask and we shall receive!' He wants us to ask Him for anything and everything! He longs for us to communicate with Him and tell Him He's a good dude! And thank Him for free will and ask Him for guidance!
I felt better then thought that someone else may be thinking the same thing! If that's you...ask away! He's not gonna limit anyone of His blessings!

| This is SO what I needed today!!! it's pretty awesome, if you have the time to read it, do! Keep believing in yourself and trust God to guide you!
I can do everything through Him who gives me strength. Harvey
MacKay tells the story of a professor who stood before his class of 30
senior molecular biology students. Before passing out the final exam he
said, "I have been privileged to be your instructor this semester, and
I know how hard you have worked to prepare for this test. I also know
most of you are off to medical school or graduate school next autumn. I
am well aware of how much pressure you are under to keep your grade
point averages up. Because I am confident that you know this material,
I am prepared to offer an automatic B to anyone who opts to skip taking
the final exam." The relief was audible. A number of students jumped up
from their desks, thanking the professor for the lifeline he had thrown
them. "Any other takers?" he asked. "This is your last opportunity."
One more student decided to go. The instructor then handed out the
final exam, which consisted of two sentences. It read:
"Congratulations, you have just received an A in this class. Keep
believing in yourself." It was a just reward for the students who had
worked hard and believed in themselves. The Apostle Paul
experienced more headaches and heartaches in a month than most of us
will see in a lifetime. Yet he wrote, "I can do everything through Him
who gives me strength." Come on, start believing in yourself, in the
Christ who lives within you, in the gifts He's placed at your disposal,
and the destiny to which He's called you. Refuse to settle for a B when God has promised and called you to an A. | | |
